I'm afraid to go in the classroom and to talk with the teatcher and the classmates. I don't know why is it. Which people have been the similar experience and can help me with an advise ? How have break your afraid? best regards Kerstin
RE: talk in the classroom
After 1 year of training I expect you are a good speaker , so don't worry..
Conversation Class will be a difficult to touch just in the first or the second time , but it will be easy for you after that , it will convert for you to interesting time : )
teachers are very nice , they encourage you alot and suppose you with good notes after each time .. you need read about conversation subject before enter class ..
I hope for you happy experience.
RE: talk in the classroom
I cannot believe that you have the chance to talk to the teachers and students in ET as you are paying for the course and you do not use it. Long ago, when I used to study here I always made sure to take the most of it as to me speaking is the most important part of the language. When you are on your own, out and about, travelling and so on you will find out that communication is important. Have a go as your tutors are there to help you, crack on babe.

Kerstin,
It is very good to know about your difficulty, because it happens with many persons. And most part of them doesn`t recognize their problem.
I advise you to practicing looking at the mirror before going to englishtown classroom. So that, you will get the confidence necessary...
Good studies,
Leonardo

Many thank's Leonardo...this is an interesting advise. Tomorrow, I try this. All the best, Kerstin

RE: talk in the classroom
i just have a question.does it mean that i could practise english with someone in the classroom if i am a member of ef?(i mean if i pay for it)
RE: RE: talk in the classroom
Yes.....if you pay than can you go also in the classroom with teacher and other members. This is the simple course. The second course for private teaching is more expensive. The best is you try Englishtown by self. I mean one month by Englishtown is free (without pay).
RE: RE: RE: talk in the classroom
thank you so much .but i don't know what can i do by self.can you give me some advice?

I think it's easy to have the live class in the Internet. Because you won't see the teacher and your classmate by vedio. So why not be afraid of speaking in the calssroom, you can pretend you are yong girl even you are 51 years old. Anyway, there is no reason for speaking at the no vedio each other.

RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: talk in the classroom
That's right ;-) but sometime gives things they can I not explain.....that's life. But in the meantime I have made private teaching with private Teacher by Englishtown. It is very good and the best way for me to talk in english. Certainly it is more expensive but very effective.
RE: RE: RE: RE: talk in the classroom
Hi Visar, I mean you must order the guidelines by Englishtown and than you must book Englishtown.
If you want to go in the classroom you must pay fees. As well you have many opinions to train english in this programm. I belive you can have a month of rehearse ......that cost only 1,- €
RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: talk in the classroom
thank youO(∩_∩)O
RE: talk in the classroom
Hi,
My advise to looking for people you feel free and comfort to deal with them and join them in one class. this will help you to overcome the barrier of fear and shame of the people. Finally, remember that we are here to learn no one is the perfect. me too i have same issue but i tried to overcome by same plane i mentioned before.i wish you the best *_*
RE: RE: talk in the classroom
Hi, Kerstin. I've a problem same as your's. When I'm in class, teacher ask me some questions, I try to answer but words don't go to my mind. I can't explain what I want to say and begin to say just iiii aaa hmmm :D I really want to improve my English, but it's so hard without speaking.
RE: talk in the classroom
Just find someone of your english level (or hier?) here and use Skype for voice talk. You may previously set the topic of discussion to prepare some words and expressions that you cannot remember well enough.
RE: RE: RE: talk in the classroom
Hi Nurka, wow......I read in your introduction about you that you talk many many languages. That is crazy.....I can only german and I train english but you can so many different languages. I think it is not a problem for you. That is a particulary case.
I know the problem....I go to the classroom and as soon as the teacher ask me something my mouth is totaly closed. I don't know why....I'm so psyched....than I'm also a stammerer. I think we must talk talk talk...it is doesn't matter what think other people about us. You must be brave and further try. I also ;-)
